Simon Stafford Visit

16th March 2020

We had a talk by Simon Stafford a photographer from Wiltshire.

Simon told us about his early days in photography when he began at Aberdeen University. He then moved on to sports photography and he showed us examples of his early work. Simon went through his images for landscapes, birds, mammals and safaris.

After tea he cast his expert eye over members images that had been put up for critique. The image is Sandy Cowie’s image of Luskentyre.

For those that were unable to attend last night here is a 10 minute YouTube with Simon answering some photographic questions.

Thanks to Simon for an enjoyable night and weekend workshops. Also thanks to Sandy and Andy for arranging the weekend.
